Nevada – List of Great Natural Areas to Visit

Nevada mostly known for its gambling, but to ignore the natural areas of Nevada is a mistake. Yes, there is great beauty in the states surrounding Nevada, but Nevada has some nice areas all its own.

Apart from a few larger cities, Nevada is very sparsely populated. In fact, it includes a stretch of highway 50 known as ‘The Loneliest Road in America’. I drove this road once and met exactly one other car in a stretch of over 100 miles during the middle of the day.

If you look for them, Nevada has some nice mountains that few visit but are well worth your time.

Below are some of the natural areas that you’ll want to visit if you are able. I’ll be adding to this list as I get time.
