Delicate Arch is one of the most famous arch in the world and one of the most famous icons of the American West. Located in Arches National Park, it is easily seen if make trip to Utah to see some of the state’s amazing scenery. The hike to see it is a bit over 3 miles round trip, but once there, you will be greeted with a wonderful view of Delicate Arch with the La Sal Mountains beyond. For a full description of the trail and how to see it, go to my detailed Delicate Arch article.
Below are some hi-res pictures from my May 31st visit at sunset. The last picture is one from a visit I made to it at sunrise in late December in 1993 after a snowfall. It was scanned from a slide I took at that time (long before digital cameras existed!).
