Fisher Towers is a nice area of towering red sandstone monoliths that is along the Colorado River just 25 miles north of Moab, Utah. It features some challenging rock climbing but also has a nice hike that skirts close to the varied towers that give the place its name.

While not on national park land like the nearby Arches or Canyonlands National Parks, the landscape here is just as dramatic as those more famous landmarks.
